Analysis of the work management of the civil construction

Abstract

The growth of the construction sector, despite having risen considerably in recent years (1994 – 2014), has shown a deficiency about to quality, cost and deadline. Fact that occurs often due to lack of reconciliation of work and planning sector or even the lack of application of methods and models of effective management. Based on this context, this article proposes to analyze the management model followed by a construction company, to identify the main problems, analyse its causes and propose some points of improvement that can achieve satisfactory results. Realizes the importance of the use of tools for planning and control in order to achieve improvements during the work management of a civil construction. The identification of the main problems and the analysis of its causes becomes the first step to reverse a situation which is chaotic. With this, is possible the implementation of action plans which allow the progress of the management model in order to achieve the goals more intended by the organizations: fulfill deadlines, reduce costs and produce with quality.
