Abstract

This review was prepared based on the book “Introduction to Complex Thinking” by Edgar Morin. The book regrouped several publications and the author analyzes the thinking conceptually simple and complex thought. For the author the simple thought is nothing more than part of a thought, split in its meaning and its importance ending with get hold of the truth. The simple thought, according to the author, is not necessarily true given the simplification process and attempts to grasp reality. Meanwhile it supports complex thinking in order, clarity and accuracy of knowledge, i.e. approaching reality.
