Self-evaluation: an important aspect in the process of teaching-learning EAD

Abstract

We can say that the constantly changing educational field, not only the distance mode, but also the presencial as both teachers and students play new roles and the transmission of knowledge is no longer considered the most effective and unique way to train subjects requires a paradigm shift in the area of assessment, changing the culture of test in the evaluation culture. We believe that students, teachers and those responsible for educational support that sustains courses in distance education should consider the evaluation processes not as mere instruments of approval or disapproval, but as mechanisms able to diagnose and define the most appropriate way to learning and student development. The self-evaluation in the manner that we propose in this work, in other words, in accordance with flexible curriculum, using new technologies and based on autonomous learning, enables the student to selfrealization, because he shall be moved by the feeling that is able to act and achieve your goals, then developing the appreciation of the “I”.
