Abstract
Imported facilities are more and more common in companies’ day-to-day operations, whether in the area of service provision or production of goods. In energy distribution companies, the situation is no different, and more and more new technologies are emerging to assist in the delivery of customer service. This work has tried to develop a model of stock control of spare parts of certain equipment in order to reduce the time in which it remains stopped for lack of parts. A study was carried out in which the real importance of maintaining stock of vital parts for the equipment is verified. By comparing the current model with the proposed one, it has been realized that the level of parts in stock will never lower to zero during the lead time, which provides greater reliability in the system.
